Privasee Messenger

is a privacy focused messaging, video calling, voice calling, file sharing service, each device encrypts the contents before it leaves the phone, only the receiving device can decrypt the content. It uses the Signal protocol (XCDH + Double Ratchet, AES-256-GCM) on each device for encryption and key negotiation.

The encrypted data relays through our servers if a direct connection cannot be made. For example devices on the same network will be able to directly communicate to each other, bypassing the Privasee Messenger relay server, otherwise Privasee Messenger server relays the data to the device, data is only stored on the Privasee server in ciphertext(encrypted) if it cannot deliver to the other device, when the receiving device reconnects the relay server sends it and removes the ciphertext from the server.

This is very much like Signal in design, it is offered free and is part of the Privasee ecosystem. In the coming days we will have a page up for Privasee Messenger explaining it and offering the android or windows client for download.
